Bamboo basket making has been passed down from hand to hand among the villagers. The scenes of crafting are always peaceful, filled with the lively voices of women as they chat by the roadside, pet cats, or sway in hammocks.
Unfortunately, it is said that there are now more plastic products and traditional manufacturing methods are becoming less common.
