Peruvian Pima cotton
Among the many types of cotton, this is the finest extra-long staple cotton.
In the harsh environment of the Andes Mountains in northern Peru, close to the equator, it grows into much thinner and longer fibers than regular cotton, allowing it to absorb more air.
Impurities mixed into the extremely fine fibers are difficult to remove mechanically, so all cotton is harvested by hand. As a result, it is extremely rare, accounting for only 2% of the world's cotton production.
It is highly absorbent, keeping your skin cool and non-sticky in the summer and warm in the winter.
